What I’ve been up to in terms of gaming? Well, I started playing the Dragon Age series last year, and I’m currently towards the end of Dragon Age 2. All I have left to do is play the DCLs and finish Act 3. Romanced Anders yet felt betrayed… I’m thinking of taking a break after DA 2 to play some otome again before starting DA Inquisition.
Also, recently finished playing Detective Pikachu which released last month. I really enjoyed it and liked the concept of Pokemon coexisting with humans in a modern day setting.
As for my wishlist, I’ve included at least one vn where you don’t have to pursue romance and it does not effect your playthrough of getting a good ending. Sort of like in DA. If you’re interesting, check it out and support the developer. To give you a hint, does the name Rinmaru rings a bell? Otherwise, most on the list will be otome.
My eyes lit up and sparkled like those of Emmeline (the one in the bottom row wearing a white coat) when Tamagobuns revealed the completed Silent Voices chibi charm designs few days ago. It’s very satisfying to see the Martasco cast with their choice of weapon. Continue reading “Oh My Charms!”→
After playing this game, I needed some time to distance myself from it. Never have I ever came across a visual novel that all the characters were well-written. Plus, I just want to hug them all to shield them from what had happened to them.
Nightshade is one of the few major Japanese otome available on Steam. It is also known as Hyakka Hyakurou Sengoku Ninpou-chou which can be heard said by various of characters when entering the main menu. The default setting randomly selects the voice. Though, you can change it to hearing your favorite character’s voice in the settings. I just left it as it is since all the voices are lovely to hear. Most of the visual novel is voiced including minor characters and the prologue narration. Impressive! The only character who doesn’t have a VA is Enju. Whether an MC is voiced or not is not a make or break deal for me.
The Professor Layton series is one of the few games I play. Characters are intriguing to look at because of how strangely nonstandard they’re drawn yet works for the universe they are put in. The story has lots of twists in it which makes me want to see what else the creators have in store for us. Though, I was quite sad when I thought Azran Legacy was the last one in the series. So far I’ve been enjoying this season’s lineup. Please refer to the previous post if you’re interested in what I’m watching.
Now onto the main topic I want to share with you all today. I’m adding another romance to the list which is Enmusubi no Youko-chan (Fox Spirit Matchmaker)! Would not have discovered it if my usual go-to chart site was down for maintenance a few days ago (and is not tracking this anime’s episode countdown?) which led me to check another site and that’s how I stumbled upon this series that I did not recognized.
If you’re looking for heartbreaking love stories, then this is for you~
